Some Cat Songs is a collection of songs written and recorded by Austrian singer-songwriter Philipp Spiegl in a single day, and is largely a musical and lyrical improvisation. Simple but imaginative compositions, referring for example to the naive songwriting of Daniel Johnston or the classic rock and roll of the 1950s, are released on black cassettes in a limited edition of 20 copies.
